of Scott Jacobson as Principal Consultant to Represent the
Los Angeles Region

Irvine, Calif., July 7th, 2008 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based executive search firm, announced today the hiring of Scott Jacobson as Principal Consultant, adding to the Southern California Consultant team in the Los Angeles region.  Jacobson will join other experienced retained Search Consultants, Fleming Jones and Shelly Beard in helping McDermott & Bull expand its Los Angeles presence, with an office located in West Los Angeles; however his practice will serve clients throughout the West Coast.

Prior to joining McDermott & Bull, Jacobson’s successful career spanned 20 years with SunChemical, an $8.5 billion global and world leader in the manufacturing of organic, metallic pigments, printing inks and color technology where he accepted increasing roles of global responsibilities and achieved Corporate Vice President status and responsibility over various industrial brands servicing industries such as cosmetics, personal care, paint and coatings, automotive, plastics, textiles, printing inks, digital inks, fiber and rubber industries.  He has also serviced such prestigious clients as Procter & Gamble, PPG, Cenveo/Anderson Litho, Flint Ink, Williamson Printing, L’Oreal, Christian Dior, MAC Cosmetics, Sherwin-Williams, Xerox and Hewlett-Packard.

Jacobson earned a Master in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, a BBA in Accounting and Management from Eastern Kentucky University and also attended Harvard Business School, completing a Business Negotiation Program.
