McDermott & Bull Executive Search and Client Ormco Corporation Announce the Placement of Rodolfo Rodriguez as Principal Scientist

Irvine, Calif., October 16, 2007 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Rodolfo Rodriguez as the Principal Scientist at Ormco Corporation, an operating division of Sybron Dental, a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation.

In this role, Rodriguez will work closely with key cross-functional partners including manufacturing, engineering and marketing as a key player in the development of new materials and technologies for creating future products.

Prior to joining Ormco, Rodriguez was the Staff Scientist at St. Jude Medical, in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, where he was responsible for developing materials to be implemented as sensors on endocardial leads to monitor electromechanical dissociation and the progression of congestive heart failure and its surrogates.

Rodriguez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Masters of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Materials Science, and a Doctorate in Engineering with a concentration in Materials Science from the University of California, Irvine.
